Details

In contrast to the Old World, Qupé focuses on cool climate expressions of Rhône varietals due to a distinctive geographical feature that sets them apart from most other regions of California. In the glass, this Syrah pours deep purple color with complex aromas of blackberry, leather, tar, olive brine and hints of sarsaparilla. Flavors are savory expressing blueberry compote with a roasted, smoky character and a touch of clove. The wine is plush and full bodied with a viscous rich mouthfeel that makes it an easy drinker.
